Cork Mosaic Floors are produced from recycled wine corks. The wine corks are cut into circular discs about 6mm (1/4") thick and glued on a special paper backing to form interesting and unique mosaic patterns. Jelinek Cork Mosaic intallation is similar to common mosaic and ceramic tiles using the "glue then grout" method. Jelinek Cork Mosaic floors can remain natural cork color or stained to any other color. These floors have all the characteristics and benifits of regular cork floors but besides being suitable in most common rooms such as bathrooms, kitchens, entranceways, etc. they are also suitable for saunas, showers, indoor pool surroundings and other potentially wet areas.
